Habitat for Humanity Project Update:

My fellow Parishioners we are in need of volunteers for Saturday 10/22. This is also dedication day for our 23rd house and we would love to have a large group to help celebrate this successful project. We will be putting the final touches on the home and landscape the yard. With dedication at Noon so it will be a half day and you will be home in plenty of time for your favorite football game.

There is a signup sheet in the vestibule under the fundraising board or you can call Jane & Mike Will at 770-446-7674,janemwill@gmail.com or mwill@ramgroup.net. Minimum age to work on site is 16 due to insurance regulations. Everyone is welcome so think about organizing a group from your workplace or with friends. Lunch, snacks, water and soda are provided at the site.

Fundraising for All Saints 23rd HFH has reached our goal of $58,000.
Thanks to all who have contributed to this important project as well as the 23 t-shirt sponsors that fully funded the cost of the t-shirts. Your financial generosity and volunteer labor support has changed the lives of the working poor of Atlanta by providing affordable homeownership. Your support reduces the cost of building the home so that the families can secure an affordable, “0” interest mortgage, serviced by the Atlanta HFH affiliate. You now have changed the lives of 23 families for generations to come. God Bless you for all you do to support our Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

All Saints Habitat for Humanity helps provide affordable housing to lower income families working through the Atlanta affiliate of HFH. Annually parishioners join together over seven Saturdays to construct a house that will become a home for a deserving family. All Saints contribution of time and money allows the family to assume an affordable mortgage of approximately $90,000 at zero interest. The group is very active from May through August each year beginning with the fundraiser and culminating with the home build each fall. There are several committees within the organization including finance, publicity, volunteer coordinators, and the all important food committee.
