Vendor Program Registration Information
Creative Movement and Dance® is offered on Mondays (Pre-Ballet) and Thursdays (Tap-Ballet)
Our Pre-Ballet class is a structured program designed for the early development of technical ballet and movement. Children must be 2.5 years (30 mo.) old and potty trained to enroll. It precisely meets the needs and limitations of preschoolers by providing a carefully paced sequence of exercises to develop physical conditioning with poise and grace. Children will learn self-discipline, listening skills, coordination skills, left right discrimination, patterns in movement, and pre-ballet.
Tap Ballet is a perfect combination class! Children must be in the Fours or Fives class to participate. The class is divided with 20 minutes of tap, and 25 minutes of ballet. Since ballet is the basis for all dance technique, the combination of tap and ballet work hand in hand. The technical training is taught through ballet, which in turn helps teach the proper shifting of weight and patterns in movement for tap.
Playball® is offered on Mondays and Thursdays.
Children must be 2 years (24 mo.) old to enroll. Playball helps improve gross motor development, increase concentration skills, build muscle tone, eye-hand/eye-foot coordination, and improve balance.
Tennis Academy of the South is offered on Tuesdays.
USTA’s revolutionary QuickStart program enables youngsters to practice and play real tennis to scale. Simple lead up activities and modified courts, nets, racquets and balls introduce our youngest students to the skills needed to play tennis successfully. Class concentration is on:
- Balance, movement, agility, coordination
- Throwing with rotation, catching and hitting, sending and receiving
- Racquet and ball control, ball tracking
- Teamwork and cooperation
Ninja Kids is offered on Wednesdays.
Children must be in the Fours or Fives class to enroll. Ninja Kids teaches students basic martial arts moves and practice. This class is great for gross motor development, coordination, self-discipline, listening, and memory skills. Another great opportunity to learn and move with our own Mr. Scott!
Art Club is offered on Wednesdays.
This class will foster your child’s natural ability to create. We will celebrate art and all its forms using various media, such as, drawing, painting, sculpture, and textiles. We will pull from both world cultures as well as famous artists. Art aides in whole-brain development by enabling your child to develop higher order thinking skills and problem solving ability.
